Maple Bank Guest House is situated in the small village of Braithwaite, just a few minutes drive from the market town of Keswick and midway between Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite Lake.

The local village store has everything you could need on a day to day basis, and there is good choice of pubs and restaurants offering excellent food throughout the area.

Almost on our doorstep is the Whinlatter Forest Park where you can go horse riding, hire mountain bikes and try out the MTB trials or Go-Ape! The award winning hire wire adventure.

Our guest house is close to the towns of Keswick and Cockermouth, both offer an excellent range of shops, cafés, bars and other attractions. There's something for everyone...
