About Maple Bank
Maple Bank Country Guest House dates back to circa 1907 when it was built as a holiday home for one of the famous Dunlop family's sons.
Nowadays, the grand rooms with their high ceilings, original sash windows and other authentic and beautiful period features, play host to a cosy, well appointed country guest house offering bed and breakfast accommodation to all those wanting to relax, unwind or explore everything the Lake District has to offer.

Breakfast is served every morning from 8.30 - 9.00am in our elegant and spacious dining room. Our dining room offers a wonderful view of Skiddaw and Blencathra. Here you can set yourself up for the day with something from our hearty and delicious breakfast menu:
Cereals, Porridge, Yoghurt and Fresh Fruit
or
Full cumberland cooked breakfast
All of the above served with toast,
fresh juice and a choice of tea or coffee.
